Really any door speaker upgrade is going to be good money spent. 6x8 Kicker F150 door speaker upgrade kit (install video also)
So many people like the powerstage kits? Is there any time when they go on any type of sale. Just looking to save a few bucks here and there. This system looks to be what I want. Yes it's on the pricey side but I want to keep it as factory looking as possible

I've started out the same exact way as you, and I went with Polk componts in the front, and regular polks in the rear, powered with a fosgate t400.4.
I went with JL Audio 10w3-4's in a fox accoustic dual ported down fire box powered by a fosgate t1000.1 amp. It's all powered off of the stock head unit.

To hook it up to the existing head unit, they put some type of addapter in it. Sorry, I can't remember what it was called, but it's not very expensive. Overall, I find this system to sound great. I've had it for about a year now, and can say that i'm completely satisfied. Compared to stock, it's like comparing night and day. I actually did the door speakers without an Amp to start out with, and that was a huge difference in the positive direction. They sounded even better after the amp was installed.
