subwoofer problems

subwoofer problems

Okay, I have the navigation radio with the 6disc cd/mp3 and the plugs for all the audiophile stuff. when i fdo the 3/6 test, the sub works but not when i turn on the stereo???? anything come to mind from all of you audiophile gurus?? Please help?

and by the way, what are the specs on the factory sub? i want to know so if i replace it, i won't burn the system. i know it's very shallow and there are replacements...not looking for the BOOMBOOM, just a little extra THUMP...know what i mena?

The kicker lowest model (don't remember which one it is) 8" is the closest replacement for a drop in, in the factory box. And I think you still need a spacer ring for it then. It's not a huge improvement over stock though. Have you tried putting some polyfill in the sub box?

thanks for chiming in pizzaman711, i was beginning to wonder if there was anyone out there. see the first post though, and see if you can tell me anyhting about that...thanks again
