MTX THunderbox for a 2004-2010 in a 99 Lightning?

MTX THunderbox for a 2004-2010 in a 99 Lightning?
Folks,
I'm eye-balling the MTX Thunderform enclosures for behind the seats of my 99 Lightning (Regular cab). I know they go for $349 all day long, however, I've stumbling across one for a 2004-2010 Regular cab.
As far as I know the 2004 is the same lay-out (behind the seats) as the 1999, and I could save a BUNDLE of cash on one.
Will it fit in my 99? I'm a tall guy and don't want to lose leg-room, or the ability to fiddle with the armrest (I've got a 10 year old). If it's not an exact fit, what would I have to hack up to make it work?
Maybe I should just go for the 97-2003 box (for 4x?)??
