How do you hook up a sub to stock HU?
So, i got a 2011 F150 with Sync and Sirius radio. Can you hook a amp to it? If so, how? If i get a PAC unit. Can i just run the remote and RCA cables to it and it will work with the amp? Thanks guys!
So will this converter work to run RCA to amp? http://www.ebay.com/itm/271215381408...84.m1497.l2649 Seems to work fine
That will pretty much do it. And the nice thing about this particular device is that if you decide, down the road, to install an aftermarket head unit, then your RCA's and REM+ are right there to hook up, no need in tearing into your rear speakers to getting the hook ups.
Also that device eliminates the need to find the correct speaker wires to tap into as that can be a PITA, depending on your skill set.

I was just skimming thru some threads because I'm thinking about doing something to improve the trucks sound system in the spring. I have an '11 Lariat with Nav. Probably get Speakers to start. What is a "PAC", that I see is mentioned in a few of the threads? Have no idea what it is, what it does. In the old days I use to put in speaker upgrades, and add amplifiers to a few of my cars. Back then I would get a Equalizer to adjust the sound. Some even had amps. I really liked that. And it usually was just modestly priced stuff, but I liked it. I don't have or use an ipad, ipod, or that kind of stuff. I do have a few of my older CD's loaded on to the Jukebox thou.

This is hands down the best component for integrating an amplifier to a factory sound system, if you got anything else already i would return it.
