I have this shallow box with shallow speakers, and though it's really good sounding and clean install look.

It's lacking that nice sharp medium/hard punch, and verberating long base tone.

wish you could listen to my setup.

Good luck.

yea I got it put in a couple of months ago. Personally, I think it sounds great, and I've had a lot of stereo systems. I powered it with a fosgate t1000.1 amp.

Can you give some details on the box and subs?

I'm not sure about the measurements of the box, but you can go to Foxaccoustics.com and get the exact measurement. I did a lot of research on subs before I bought the JL 10w3's, and these were the ones I felt the most comfortable with. I will say this, after listening to it for almost a year, those 2 10s coule use a little more air space I think, and even the guy who did the install said the same thing, but I took that as him trying to push his box on me instead. I still think it sounds great, but some songs, i've gotta make some adjustments on the amp ****. I still sounds 10x better than anything that i've ever had. I'm not sure what kind of truck you have, but if you're going to do highs and mids, I strongly suggest using Polk MM's. There are lots that sound better for a higher price, but not for the price of these. Another sub that I was told would sound good in these were the Image
Dynamics, but im not sure which ones they were. They're a little cheaper than the JL's in some places.
