Thanks! Like I said, saw someone on DIY using the end caps and just started thinking, there had to be a solution for my application too. Very happy with it.

Pvc pipe

Hey what size pvc pipe was that? I'm looking to install some audison tweeters in my 2010 f150. Great idea BTW .

Man, I wish I could remember. I just had my tweeter cup with me at Lowes and kept popping it into different ones to see which one fit. And the confusion of whether it was "receiving" a certain size or "was" a certain size didn't help. Sorry about that. Thanks for the compliment though and best of luck. Let me know if I can help with anything else.

EDIT: I just went back and looked at the pictures and saw the dimensions of those rubber gasket rings. They had an inner diameter of 1.5" so the skinny part of the PVC pipe had an outer diameter of 1.5".

Thanks for the reply I ended up ordering empty focal tnk tweeter pods from eBay. they have the same mounting diameter. Only cosy $20 with shipping.
