I talked to the guy at foxacoustics, and he said that the Polk's XMAS in inaccurate. He said that they're exagerating a little bit. I also spoke with one of our dealers in the area and he told me about some new JL Audio Shallowmount that is supposed to be coming out before too long. They're gonna offer it in 10 and 12" and it'll run around $399ish. I'm gonna hold off on adding subs and focus on lifting mine and putting some tires and wheels on it. Too much uncertainty with the system upgrade.

 

Might as well go with the alpine shallow for the price. It performeded so well they has to go back and redo the normal type r's. I'd take that or the stereo integrity one (whenever it comes out) over the jl shallows anyday.

 

I would love to get my hands on one of those Stereo Integrity's. Pizzaman, do you have any idea which shallow mount delivers the tightest, deep bass of them all? That's really what i'm after.
