Has anyone tried putting the stock sub in a larger box to see if it made any difference?

 

That Would Be A good idea because most manufacturers tend to put the smallest box possible on a sub but it might be a pain in the a** to wire it since the wires are molded into the plastic of the original box from what ive seen in my friends truck

 

Polyfilling the stock box seems to be the answer
