i have the factory sub and it needs more bass or a way to turn up the sub bass more but dont think that can be done
so im thinking powered sub to replace the stock one

so whats the best powered sub that will fit under the rear seat of a 2012 screw?

i found the Kicker 11HS8

Infinity makes one as well. They call theirs a Basslink. I have their truck Sub in my 2010 Supercrew laying flat on the floor under the back seat. It has a built in amp, so all you have to do is hook it up and go. The one I have has a single 10 inch sub with two 10 inch passives in it. It pumps out some really nice bass. I have a 4 channel alpine amp running the door speaks and it has pre amp outs on it, so I just run them to the sub amp and I am good.

You should check Kicker's Soundgate boxes specially designed for the F-150.

Alpine also is making a sub and box combo that fits under the super crew back seat.
