Please help!! Door speaker problem!

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if make any mistakes as far as posting on this forum board. Anyhow, I have a 97 f150 4x4 extended cab and a boss flip screen head unit with pioneer door speakers but my problem is, my door speakers keep cutting out every time I turn the volume
Above 20 but my subwoofer will keep hitting. I've tried pulling the power off the amp thinking that it was drawing too much power from
The radio but didn't work. Also I took my drivers side door panel
Off to see if there was a loose wire or something and I could. Wiggle the wires and get it working again but just as soon as
I turn the volume over 20 it will quit again. And the radio goes all the way to 40 so basically the door speakers will cut out at half volume but the radio along with the sub woofer still play music. Any help, tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. And thank you for bearing with me as I new to this forum.

Sounds like the headunits internal "amp" doesn't want to play that loud. Kinda famous for boss stuff to not to what it's supposed too unfortunately. Did you do the install on the headunit and door speakers? Also is 20 on the radio loud, quiet, etc?
