How does this set up sound. 2 10 inch kicker comps with a 350.2 kicker zx amp downfiring in a box under the back seat. He is installing it with the bass **** and everything for $385. Iv gotten quotes from other places from $800-$1000. I have gotten speakers, a head unit, and HID's from the place so I know its a good place.

I was wondering if this sounds like a good deal, if the set up sounds good and the amp could adequately power the subs etc, any thoughts?

 

I'd say it's a fair price installed. I'd also go a different route though. Even $60 a sub and whatever they're charging for that amp, you can do better online. Personally i'd rather go with one quality 10 than 2 Kicker Comps.

But to find a shop to give you an installed price like that, you're restricted to what you have lined out. If you like the place, and you've heard the speakers...you'll probably be happy with it.

 

yeah i ended up going with that set up this morning. and they installed the amp behind the back seat so i dont run the risk of anyone messing with it. sounds great
