Component question

I am going to step up to components.
Question 6 1/2 or 5/7?
And what is I good mid priced set maybe less than
300.00

Alpine mf300
50 x4 but may bridge it then 150x2

I just bought infinity 8602 refs from crutchfield since they had a sale going. They're 6x8 total costed me 200$ and 20 bux for the tools. Crutchfield will also send you the instructions and the your specific model harnesses. It's pretty easy to do it yourself too. Good luck pm if u need help

I would run that amp bridged so you can run the gain low and have some headroom possibly.

I would go with a 6.5 or 6.75 comp set just because you will have more choices then 5x7. I prefer Focal speakers but they can be expensive.

get the 6.5'' speakers...you will need an adaptor plate to mount them...i made mine from a 1/4'' plastic cutting board from walmart...where are you gunna mount tweets??

Can you buy an adapter like one for mounting 6.5 in 6x9 hole?
Was going to mount the tweets in oem spot in door panels.

I think I will run back speakers off HU and bridge amp to run fronts

yep....they sell them...my truck had 6x8 stock speakers...look at sonic electronics or crutchfield they will have installation hardware...
