Sony System not sounding good

I have a new Platinum F150 with the Sony Sound ad Nav page.
I am just not impressed with the sound on the Sony.I had a Tahoe with a Bose system and it was much much better. Right now I have the treble all the way up and the bass at zero. Its the best I can get.

Would new speakers help?
I can't believe this is the best Sony can do

Any ideas?

New speakers would definitely help, a good set of components with an amp behind them would be the best. But a decent set of coaxials with maybe a small sub also (if your looking for a little low end response) also would be better.

As for "the best Sony can do", well that's not much compared to other brands of speakers ha, sony isn't really all that good anymore.

The platinum comes stock with a sub, does it not? New speakers will help a tad, but not much by themselves. An external amp driving them will bring out their true potential and mesh with your sub nicely
