Custom box. Prefab boxes are tuned to like 45hz. Build your own and tune to around 32-35hz for deep bass. Or upgrade your sub depending on what your running.

Yeah I would definitely build your own. Without a seat lift I'd say you can probably run a single 10 or pair of 8s.

It's gonna be next to impossible to fit two ported 10's under the seat. Sealed is definitely possible, but I doubt there's enough room to port two.

Fully custom box and depending on mounting depth, yes.

Hey.

What does being 17 have to do with anything? You'd be surprised at what you could accomplish with some effort. And it may end up being something you'd enjoy, and find very rewarding.

Poke around on the web - there are TONS of build sources - just a couple:

http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxes.asp
http://www.diysubwoofers.org/car/caraudiosub.htm
http://www.mmsa.org.uk/guides/car_au...alculator.html

Electronics and engines, eh? got any examples?

Good luck!

MGD

If you can do all that you can definitely build a box. As long as you can work a tape measure, jig saw, drill, and a calculator, you'll definitely be good to go. I built my first box when I was 15 ha, it's not hard just take your time and make sure your cuts are straight.

If you want to fit a pair of 10s ported you'll have to do a seat lift.
