I'm just going for better sound so when I crank it up there is no distortion. Door speakers really isnt my main concern, as I already know what I'm looking for(but any suggestions are appreciated). But my main thing is the factory sub! I want to(not that I have to) use the stock sub box with amp and replace the speaker. Now I know the stock amp isn't powerful or is known for its clarity, but any money saved can go into my susp or my race car.

So what do y'all think I should do? I know you'll all say bigger is better in a since but I've had 8 12s in a ranger before, so I'm done with big and loud.

 

The only sub I know of that fits the factory enclosure is a kicker 8", but I think you need to make a trim ring for it still to raise it up some.

 

I haven't even taken the box out yet but is that an 8 in there now? I'm mean it sounds ok but damn i thought it was a 6 or something. But yeah I saw the kicker 8. I was actually thinking of kicker all the way around.
