Which speakers for 2011 SCrew?

I've been scouring this forum, f150net and 150 forum looking for what I should get for speakers, but I haven't seen anything.

I want to get a set of pretty decent speakers, but I don't know what sounds good, what are good brands or any of that. I listen to metal nearly exclusively, so I don't think I need a sub.

Can I get pretty good sounding speakers without putting in an amp? I absolutely do not want to change my headunit. I live in the car theft capital of the nation, and I don't want my truck to get ****ed with.

I'm willing to spend a couple hundred right now if necessary. Less would be sweet, though.
Thanks

You can run without a amp, but you'll get better performance with it for sure. And I'd either run a small 8 or 10" sub for metal, especially if there is a lot of double bass in it, but that may be more screaming than metal.

Ok, cool. It wouldnt be an issue to do it incrementally, would it? Change speakers first, then get other stuff as I have extra cash?

What speakers/amd/sub should I get?

Thanks

Nope, no issue doing it in stages, that's what I'm doing now haha. The only thing that will get annoying after a while is having to pull things out to add things that you've already pulled out before haha.

As for speaker's are you planning on doing both the ones in the front and the back? I'm upgrading my setup now in my truck and I decided to only actually put money to the ones in the front because that's where I am all the time, and then just to get some pretty cheap yet still a little better one's for the rear because I barely ever have anyone back there, just something to think about to save a little cash.

Yah, that's what I was thinking about doing, if not just leaving stock speakers in the back.

What kind of speakers should I look at?
