r6racer.... GREAT pics on the box and suspension mods! one question: I just bought the same box this afternoon, and I was going to mount my amps on top of it and raise the seat 2" ...BUT it looks like you put your amps behind the seatback. I know there's room back there, but I was trying to figure out how to fasten them... how did you do it?

Oh yeah... rock on with the R6 dude... I had a 2000 R6 and it was stolen w/ 937 miles on it! ugh... well I'll be getting an '02 R6 or R1 later this year.

cool... I think I'm going to go ahead and try to mount them behind the seatback, but if that doesnt work, there's always the option to raise the seat, then make some billet aluminum I-Beams to put around the top perimeter on the front and sides... to hide the amps and provide more support for the front of the seat.

Do you have a digital camera? If so, I'd like to see some pics.

I would, but my jack is located under there, and I dont want to relocate it. Plus, I'm going to install two rather large amps. I was looking at some pics, and it looks like I can bolt them directly to the rear wall, but we'll see. As far as crossovers though, I may put the rear ones under there, but I may just put them inside the rear "suicide door" panels. Hmm... theres no shortage of options here though.

Yeah, you're right about insurance... good thing my dad is an insurance agent!!

Hey R6... I actually went with the 7873 HU, since it matches the dash better, but I went with the MM465's instead of the 445's... Did the flush mount setup in the doors. It looks sweet! They're not hooked up yet, since I have to order my amps. Oh, I think I'm going to mount one amp under the center seat in the front, and the other (sub) amp on the back wall.
