hey i'm hoping you experienced guys can give me some advice on a new box and not give me a hard time for sounding stupid if i do. lol anyways, here's what i'm working with: 2004 NBS reg cab without the tool box or seat belt behind the seats so it's wide open behind the seats and theres like a platform that extends out about a foot for the box to sit on.

i have this box which is made for a camaro:o


kicker zx750.1 (test sheet said it put out around the mid 900 range)


kicker cvr 12's which i think are 4OHM but i have them wired to work with the 1 channel amp


i know this sealed box is on the small side but it fit perfect and the guy at the audio store was pissed at his boss so he told me it was on the house. lol

i want a bigger ported box put i also want to be able to mount my amp on it as well.

do you guys have any suggestions, tips, etc?

p.s. sorry if this has been discussed already but i would like to do it myself but have never built a ported box before and i'm not sure where to start..
