I have a 2002 f150 super crew, 4x4, all stock. trying to find out if there are any 12" sub boxes designed for it. Seems all I can find are ones that only fit the non 4x4 trucks. Any help would be great....

I assume you want the box under the rear seat. If you want a 12(s) you will either need a seat lift or a shallow mount 12.

 

That's correct. Two JL audio 12's. not sure what the difference is between 2wd or 4wd. I've looked on several different sites and most say "will not fit 4wd". Or don't specify at all. I did go to a custom audio shop and was told that I would need a lift for the seat and that it would be a downward fire box. My biggest problem lies in the fact that I take my two dogs with me often, so I can't lay down the seat with that box. If I can't find another solution I'll remove the molding and build a box into the cab itself. I've taken measurements and I could build it without to much trouble in the existing space behind the seat itself. probably my best option if I want to take the dogs and keep the system intact when I do...just hoping to get other ideas before undertake the task.
