hahah you dont by JLs for SPL man, there straight SQ with a little SPL. If you want SPL I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend SSA Audio or FI - these are SPL COMP subs. Do yourself a favor and dont buy, kicker, JL, Rockford, Alpine, etc - all overpriced subs. Yes, they are good subs but junk compared to SSA and FI. Look at my thread on here a few posts below

I forgot about ID! they make really nice stuff as well, so does Diamond and RE (RE is becoming way overpriced however).

 

Anyone runing the Mephis 12" shallow mounts? Any input on these?
