help me choose

Ok guys, I am going to start upgrading my audio system in stages and need some help on choosing some of the equipment. I listen to all kinds of music from country to rap. I all ready have a pioneer avic z3 for my head unit. My next step is going to be the door speakers. I am going to add sound deadner to the doors and the back wall first then change out the door speakers and amp them. From the reading I've done it sounds like I should run components in the front and coaxial in the rear, but what brand/model do you guys recommend and what amp would you use. I don't want to spend a fortune but I don't want to buy something that is low end stuff either. Thanks for any help.

Oh and when this stage is done I am going to add another amp and run either 1 or 2 10's under the rear seat and deaden the floor. But I'll have to wait till i get the funds for that.

polk's make some good components and at a good price normally you can find them for $100-$150 on amazon, for the amp go with something by rockford fosgate.

Spend the bulk of your money on amp and front speakers... the rear speakers are just for rear fill. You dont go to a concert and sit backwards do you? I have a cheap set of Arc audio 5x7 coax in the rear locations, but up front I have Mmats 6.5" seperates with the tweets installed in the A piller location... I get awesome imaging/front stage!

As for brands you are likely to get a different answer from every person here... best bet is to go to a few quality car audio retailers and ask and listen. Make a Custom CD of your favorite songs... PICK WHAT YOU LIKE, LISTENING WHAT YOU LIKE TO LISTEN TO!

Nice choice on the amp! I love the Slash series amps. They do cost a little more then most...but in return you get good quality. Never tried their component speakers or coaxials...but im sure the whole set up sounds sweet!
