And yes, you would be wise to listen to mSaLL. I have read his posts not only on this forum but others as well and he knows his stuff.

You rock dude, that's very similar to what I'm thinking. I've seen a few other center seat builds, but that is closest to what I'm thinking. Looks like I can do it in MDF instead of fiberglass. When I start applying the dynamat I'll pull the seat and get more precise measurements. I should be able to easily get .5^3 of space there.

Thanks, I know the MX-1 doesn't do summing, but with all the control the MX-1 offers me I'm hoping I'll be Ok. For some reason I was under the impression just the sony systems re-eq'd the output.

OK good because I'm looking to throw some 6x8's in but dint want to run them from an amp.. How do they sound?
