Whats this Black Box
Whats this Black Box
Alright guys this is a pretty stupid question but im new to this whole stereo system equipment. I drove a 2000 F150 XL with manual everything then upgraded to 2004 F150 Lariat with power everything.
Anyways i had the stock stereo 6 disc radio and bought the Pioneer 4200DVD. As i hooked up the Pioneer i noticed a difference. So i got to searching around and found this long black box underneath the back seat on the drivers side. And took it out and low and behold it was a small amp with a speaker. But wait as i hooking up the Pioneer i seen that there was the wiring harness that my wiring harness that i bought hooked right into but there there was also two other plugs that hooked into the stock stereo but not into the pioneer.
So my question is how do i hook this up to the pioneer? surely somebody has run into this before.
I have pictures but no clue how to put them on here
Any help is appreciated

your truck has the audiophile audio system, which includes a stock sub/amp. You need a different wire harness to retain stock sub function...Scosche part FDK11B or Metra 70-5521. Best buy stocks the scosche piece.
