regular cab system suggestions?

Hello guys not sure if this is the right place but i wanted to see any opinions on a sound system setup in an 89 f150 regular cab. i have an aftermarket head unit, but stock speakers and wanted to know what people do with the little space in the truck. looking to spend 300-800 dollars any input would be awesome thanks!

i just did a install on a friends 95 reg cab f350. we did one rockford p3s 12" in the rockford pre fab box with a rf prime 500.1 and it was ok. the next weekend we traded in the 500.1 for a 1000.1 and added another 12" and it was amazing. one just didnt cut it, i wasnt impressed at all and im a huge fr fan, but adding the second sub and doubling the power was just the opposite. very loud and clear. in his truck i did a kenwood deck all rf punch mids n highs, rf 300.4, 1000.1 and the 2 12s plus a amp wire kit from rf witch extends you to a 2 yr warr. for 1200 and change

SI BM's pushed with around 500w should be decent. one of those and a small 500w class d amp with box should be right around 400-500$ tops.

Its about the best option for small space subs that want little airspace. Those RF's im sure like a larger box which is why they didnt sound good.

you can buy a rf shallow mount p3s in a fosgate built enclosure just look em up the top of the box is 3 1/2" bottom is 5 1/4" i think the will fit with the tiny space you have
