Question 00-03 Subwoofer Box success stories - Need help!

Howdy all - seeing if there's any solid recommendations for websites selling their 00-03 F-150 Supercab Sub Box and for what $$$. and how well they like it overall!

-I have 2 10" Audiobahn Ultra Excursions (900rms ea.) and have a ghetto-like half-*** L shaped made box behind my seat. Time for an upgrade, and I wouldn't mind having it look better back there, and getting my rear seat back

- Here's there specs
Mounting Depth - 5 3/4"
Hole Cutout - 9 5/8"
Outer Diameter - 10 7/8"
http://www.audiobahn.com/Audiobahn06/pages/woofers.html

-My friend whos gonna do most of my upgrades soon says Cardiscountstereos.com is legit. He buys everything car audio from there. The Sub box there is 59.99?? I'll throw in some neons to make free shipping on orders over $100.
-Also, Brad Johnson made a post about Atrend Boxes, I'll check them out as well. though I think my box is there is $103?

-Main questions
#1 Mounting Depth of the sub needs to be EXACTLY the same as the mounting depth of the sub box, yes?
#2 I want my subs to kick. Hard. I'm worried my subs will hit my floor. How much distance, er or how loud can I get? (Possibility in a rear seat lift kit, but I'll do it that only if I have to, due to how hard I want them to hit)
#3 Do I have to tell the retailer I'm buying from what my subs are so they'll fit? Or can I just buy it and have room for a little improvisation, etc?
#4 Any major concerns/possible problems I could run into?

-Getting a new ZX Kicker Mono D 1000w Sub amp too. As well as new Kicker Compenent speakers.

this box should work fine for you http://supercrewsound.com/commerce/p...Id=11&catId=56

Or the ones you listed. the only issue you may have is clearance of the surround to floor.

DIY rear seat lift kit?!

"SuperCrewSound
to me show details Jul 12 (5 days ago)

Those subs will not work with the box. There is not enough room under the box for them to operate. You need about 2.5” of clearance and our box only has 1.25”.

Thanks

That was the reply E-mail I got in from asking if my AW1005N 10" Audiobahn Ultra Excursion Subs would fit with their 00-03 Dual 10" Sub Box with added mounting depth.

So it looks like I'm going to find someone to make the box, and see if I can purchase any steel brackets for a DIY rear seat lift kit. I don't feel like spending $300 on something a friend can do for less than $100, anybody have any knowledge of doing a DIY rear seat lift kit?
