Metra 70-5522 Connection to OEM Sub

Quick question: Appears that I connect the 2 blue/white wires to the turn-on wire (blue/white) coming out of the new AVH-P4200DVD. Is that correct? I've got a resistor on order that will connect between the HU and the 70-5522.

Thanks guys,

David

If anyone is interested, it worked out properly like I stated above. I used this resistor:

I was wondering something about this topic - if you took that harness and hooked up the turn-on wires to a fuse (just like adding an amp) and ran patcj cables to an mtx re-q or a similar LOC that has an independent sub channel....would that work??
