so i got a new headset and speakers, now i need some bass. ive ultimately decided on a 2 ohm kicker CVT10. anyone have one? what do you think about it?

 

I've had 2 10s for a few months now, and I've had them in 2 different boxes. First was a factory box to fit under the seat of a 99 ext, 2 separate chambers .8 ft^3 each. My set up now has them in a single chamber 2.7 ft^3. I mostly listen to rap so music might be a difference but, i've been pretty happy with them. They put out pretty good bass and in both boxes it packs a punch. Of course the bigger box will give you deeper bass but even the small box sounded pretty good.

O by the way I'm tryin to sell them now, my friend was gonna buy everything but I'm starting to give up on him. Was selling the 2 subs, small box(above), and a amp(w/ old amp kit if wanted) want $400 but may go down.

 

Yup! Got My CVT12 two weeks ago. Gonna get one more. With just one CVT12 it blows my mind! These are freaking amazing subwoofers! Good Luck!

can't remember if the CVT is SVC or DVC, but remember to get a 4ohm model if it's a DVC since most sub amps are going to run at 2ohm. I had to order a second 10" CVX because I accidentally got the 2ohm DVC so it was registering as 1ohm at the amp.

 

Im pretty sure they're SVC but anyways I had 2 10" ones in a custom box and they sounded awesome. I did however recently sell them and moved onto bigger pastures

Currently nothing. I'm waiting for my stereo integrity BM MKIII shallow 12"' to come in though.
