just bought 2 15" rockford fosgate t1's from a buddy with a 1800 watt amp, a box, all wires, and a capacitor. for 500 smackers going to put them in tommorrow. any tips? amp settings? amp location? radio settings? im using the stock 6 disc changer

 

no suggestions, but that is gonna be hittin. and you are so lucky to get that for so cheap.

 

There are a few guides for running power wires if you use search. I found it easy to run outside the truck and up under the back seats. Dont bother with the cap.

 

ok i have a little problem. i cut the rca's and spliced them into the door speaker so i could use my stock radio. the speakers sound like crap up loud but low they sound great. and the subs with the truck running have noise and everyonce in awile they will just hit this super low note and be stuck on with the radio off??? im lost. is the spliceing in the door speaker my problem?

 

WTF! Why would you cut rca's? Buy a hi low adapter and that splices off the speakers and you plug your rca's into that. You will also need to run your remote wire on the amp(s) to a fuse or a wire on the back of the radio that is only on when the radio is on.

 

i think im going to get a pioneer head unit tommorrow. its free so what the heck? i cut the rca's because i got fed bad info

yea i got a kenwood hu and it fixed everything. just need to do some adjusting with the settings
