Planning a whole new system need some input
Alright so i sold my f150 and got a bronco II. Well i took the system out of my truck before sold it and i am selling it. Long story short i am going to be adding some stuff. heres a list of what i will be running.
Rockford Fosgate P1683. 6x8
Rockford Fosgate Power T1S652. 6.5's
2 !0" Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D410
Lanzar MXA282 -
* 4 ohms: 1000 watts x 2 chan. this is how it will be wired
* 2 ohms: 1650 watts x 2 chan.
and it will be on a dual flipout 7" screen.
Not to sure what kind of wiring kit i am going to get, i might just stick with my old wires.
But give me your input on how this will sound. And if i should get ported, sealed, or a bandpass box.

I am a huge Rockford fan... had a RF system in my old car for 8 years and it sounded just as great when I sold it as it did when it was first installed. I don't think you can go wrong with the 10's, I have them in my truck and they sound great. I'm not familiar with that amp but if your not happy with it I would recommend the RF P500-db for the subs and P500-4 for the 6.5. I have a few pics of the amps in my profile. I picked up the everything from the box, amps, subs from www.kcautosound.com they are the cheapest out there. Travis has some pretty good tech support if you need any advice. ok... that's my two cents, good luck!!!
Almost forgot... Rockford has some deals going on with their wiring kits and I have a sealed dual enclosure for my 10's.

Rockford door speakers - extremely tinny. No real midbass at all, even when hooked up to an amp.
P3's - Sound great until the cone cracks
Lanzar and Dual - Never seen anything but junk from them, especially the Dual flip out. When we carried/sold those, they had about an 80% failure rate
heres my opinion...
