One 10" or two?

So I'm fixing to work on upgrading the system in my 2007 scab. I'm thinking of going with just one 10" based on the amp I have to run it which is an Alpine MRP-M450. It's 400x1 at 2 ohms. I had it running two JL 12's in a large sealed box in my old xploder and it sounded great. I'm afraid it won't be as efficient in a tighter, smaller encloser and be way underpowering for two 10's. I don't want to buy a single box and then decide it sucks and have to buy another dual box and amp. Anyone have a decent single 10" with an opinion?

I'm also planning on running Polk Audio comps in the front powered by an Alpine MRV-F307 and an Alpine 9856 head unit. I realize the two amps are not optimum but they're what I have and the wife will **** a brick if I start buying all new stuff.

Find 2 10's that want 150-200w rms that can be wired down to 1 ohm and rock out! Or go 1- 12 and pick up one of those SI BM's
