Component Wiring Help

So i've had a "system" in my truck for quite a while but its actually just a loud woofer and some decent tweeters. looking to up my sound quality with a decent budget so I'm picking up this component set this weekend hopefully:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...7;3AMEWAX%3AIT

i've listened to em, read reviews about em and they fit in my budget so that's what I chose. My question is, how exactly does all this come together with an amp?? I'll be probably be mounting the crossovers in the rear closer to the amp i choose. I only plan on running 1 set up front, so i only need a 2 channel amp, correct? So something about 200-400 rms should be fine right? to leave me power if i decide to upgrade.

since i'm running all RE/US Amps now (want the XXX component set but way outta my budget ) this is the amp i have in mind:
http://www.techronics.com/caraudio_1...html?aff=72182

mainly because when i redo the rear, my amps will be visible & i want them to all tie in

*and on a side note, i've searched a lot and only find people putting the 6.5" components in the nbs F150s, has anybody put em in the obs?

Looks solid to me. I think mSall150 had an earlier version of that amp at one time.

Hey man if you are okay with the earlier version of those amplifiers I have 2 of them for sale used in great condition that were in my truck. I have the XT800.2 and the XT1600.2, either one would power your passive components well and you could bridge one on a sub. I used the small one on my tweeters and the large one on my 7" midwoofers. Let me know if you are interested.

By the way your plan looks great.

thanks bud, replied

another note, found something else I've been looking for for a while....more 15s.

Only problem is, my truck is running the 15" SX, he has 2 15" SEs for sale. These are the line right under mine, so they're a little "weaker" so to speak. i've heard em, and they still sound ridiculous and he has em runnin on some frickin horrible audiodrift amp. i was thinkin bout buyin em, puttin em on another md1d, or maybe the md1d i already have and bump the sx to a md2d. but i'm kinda mixed on the idea of mixing speaker series. i don't have the $$ to get em right now anyway, but it's a friend's friend so he said he could hold on to em for me. he's askin $300 for both of em in the box, so i'm thinkin between $200-$250 for just the subs. any feedback..?

i do that in the end anyway, but i'm askin is mixin the different subs a good idea? it's not like mixing brands, but if the new box holds each one in its own chamber it should be fine right? b/c the airspace on the SE & SX is diff

Dont mix subs. In theory it will work, in practice not a good plan.

The components will be nice, they are a set I would not mind trying myself.

idk, i'd want to actually hear the subs mixed before i make my decision. a lot of people just think it's a bad idea off the bat (including me haha) but i honestly don't know how it'd sound.

and it's up in my post above coobies about how i'd power em.

but i decided not to get em anyway, bcuz i went over to check em out or w/e and they're actually SRs not SEs. so i don't even want em. so guess i'm stickin with the 1 15 for a while longer. but i am still gonna get the components & prolly pick up the older version of that amp from msall

i was also going to ask about what's the voice coil configuration on them too, would be a fun time to have a dual 2 ohm and dual 4 ohm speakers and try and get them wired to a amp. what 15" are you currently running right now?
