Passenger side speaker isn't working

Alpine SPR-17S Components

Voltages looked okay in the regular places, so I pulled it out and tried it in the driver's side. It worked there, so I know the speaker is good. The tweeter works so I know that I'm getting power to the crossover. To check my connections from the crossover to the speaker itself I stripped the wire and connected it directly to the +/- tabs on the speaker. No go. I re-did the connection between the speaker and crossover at the crossover itself, and still nothing.

Like I said, tweeter works, speaker doesn't. Speaker still functions. Connections are good. Does this mean the woofer part of my crossover is shot?

Sounds like you fried the crossover.

x3 on the agree. The best way for you to check would be to connect a speaker to the bad crosover. You shouldn't get any sound out of it if it's bad.

Good point, I may try that sometime today. Was talking to msall and he thinks this is the excuse I need to go active. Just throw in an RF 360.2.

I've been looking into that. It won't be until summer, but it will likely happen.

Eh, I've never been a fan of OEM integral units, but if you're looking to retain your factory HU, then it can be justified. The 3sixty.2 is my favorite of today's units.
