just out of curiosity i was wondering if those amps are able to be strapped and if not you may want to think of getting one huge amp to run them 18's rather than using 2 smaller amps and trying to get both of them to exactly match each other in output and frequency response since the subs are using the same air space inside the box if one amp is off a little then you could possibly blow a sub real quick due to over excursion. but if youve got a divider in the box then nevermind.

Why not build a rack across the floor in front of the box? With a setup like that, i dont think id want the amps on the front like that. I think it would be sweet across the floor, kinda like what 68vmax or whatever his name is has.

True, I gotta think it out, I have to wait on the extra funds to come in now. I did this with my good ole tax return

Before you say anything, I know I gotta brace the roof better and my head unit should be here in the near future along with my upgraded door speakers and amp. Remember, I'm doing little by little since I recently paid the truck off. Here's a little clip I took right after I got the truck back from the shop.

They sound great, I'm very pleased and love how MMATS merchandise is built here in Florida as well.

you know, as cool as that is. I find it completely stupid, like the time I removed my back seat in the fist car I owned to put two 15" subs in it.

Sure it was cool for about a week, then I realized that I went from a 4 seater to a two seater, and gained nothing.

I respect the time/money and work put in that, but its completely useless IMO.

That said, it looks really good, and I bet its really loud.

Good job on getting it all in and working, and it looks nice, its just not my cup of tea though.

So what are you saying, I need to do what you would do or what? My old F250 that you see to the right in my sig. had the backseat taken out and had a wall of 3 15's with a HUGE amp. I do what I want because I like to experience things myself and not just from what people say. Usually when people don't agree with a thread, they don't post unless they're trying to get a point across.

Welcome to the forums...lol

I crack up every time I see a thread where someone is proud of something and then someone pops in to post their negative opinion or how you should do what they think. Have the people would never be so rude to your face why have the ***** to do it behind a screen? Because there is no threat of being rude face to face.

Anyways, would I do what you did...hell nah BUT I have 2 kids and a wife HOWEVER if I could do it I would. In fact I'm so sick of the crap subs you are forced to put in a box under the rear seat I'm working on a seat L shape box to take the middle seat away. People will say negative things but **** on them, this is my truck.

BTW is that black vinyl and if so did you glue or staple it? Looks clean on the edges.
