Smile Official Audio Rehab Build

Hello every one,

For the past few years I've been running two 12 JL Audio W6's sealed, which was a nice setup but I'm looking to change it up a bit.

I will be upgrading my amp kits, big three, and battery. I am still in the middle on a sub setup right now. I am tossing about between 3 12's sealed with the seat modified to allow for the fit or 2 10" subs ported. Either sub setup will be ran off of a AudioQue 2220. The amp is due to arrive Monday afternoon, very excited about this. The battery will more then likely be upgraded to a XS Power D6500 which supports up to 3000 Watts and 4000 watts max.

I will Post pictures and progress as i go, hope you enjoy!

Thanks.

Update:

Here are some items i had received today and yesterday!

Kolossus Flex 0 Gauge Power Amp Kit:

Big *** Fuse Holder!

Kolossus Flex 0 Gauge Wire - For Big three upgrade:

Gold Plated Ring Terminals:

If i decide to go with 3 12's sealed these are the subs i will be using. I already have two built.

They are custom built drivers, the motors are TC9 double stack slugs, 12" 4 spoke basket, dual soft spider layered, 4 layer copper coil, rubber surround, paper cone. Each sub is rated between 700-1000 RMS, choose 4 spoke basket to keep mounting depth low, they have a 6.25" mounting depth.

I had them running in a small sealed box off of around 1000 RMS total, and they get pretty damn low/ loud for being sealed and the power.

The w6, sounded very nice, was pretty clean, To me the sub is design for more output then low end. hard to explain what i mean if you haven't heard a sub first hand design for low end

But i did like the W6's!

Yes i am, looking for some nice output and strong lows! lol will see how this build goes. It all depends on how much i can get out of modifying the seat.

Will see, another option is, if i get enough space i can port the two 12's using Aereo ports. i have to see the seat and see what i have to work with before i have any real say.

So being that i have the supercharger, my alternator is tucked nicely under! so getting to the alt and running the power wire is going to be a pain in the ***.
