Replacing factory 6x8's in 2007 CrewCab
I decided to go with Pioneer Model # TS-A6872R
Now all I need is good instructions a pics of how to replace them in the front an rear doors. Are there any good thread on the site here?

Tools needed
1. small flatblade pocket screwdriver
2. 7/32" socket or nutdriver
Look around the edge of speaker grill for the notches, insert screwdriver into notch and pop out grill.
Use 7/32" socket and remove four screws holding in speaker and unplug from factory harness
Plug in new speaker using a harness adapter (metra 72-5600) and reuse factory screws, replace grill and move on to the other side.
Now if you have the audiophile speakers in the front you can leave the tweeters there, just unplug them, otherwise you have to remove the door panel to get them out. You have to remove the door panels on the back doors to change out the speakers. I'll go out later and snap some pics and compile a list of tools needed for the rear door panels.

I have a supercrew. Does that make a difference for the rear door? It looks like the front door.

There are two wires on the speakers. What is the extra set? Does that go to the small round tweeter? Is that why I lose the tweeter?

Here is my rear door. Do I just pop this access cover off like the front?

Yes, just pop the access cover and there should be two 8mm screws under there, the rest should be very similar to mine as for removal.

Mine was different.......

The speaker cover on the rear door does not come off like the one on the front door. If you try to get the rear cover off you will just break it. The rear door panel needs to be removed.
