Question on speakers...

Is anyone familiar with these speakers? If so, what are your thoughts? Worth it. I am not looking for a competition set up, just looking for good sound, clear undistorted bass, mids, and highs. Not looking to run amps or anything, just everyday listening.

I always liked their subs, but never heard any other speakers. I might give them a try. The price is per pair, no catch. I think this ebay store sells like last years models of leftovers or something. They also have brand new pioneers that are listed as brand new 2008 pioneer 6x8's. Don't really care if they're old model, as long as they are new and they sound good.

Alpine Type S, Infinity Reference, Pioneer D series. Stay away from the rockfords.

I don't think those would fit? Our year uses 5x7/6x8. I loved my 6x9 Type R's that I had in my Cavalier in the back, they hit pretty hard. Alot harder than these Rockford Power's that I have.

Those speakers will fit. They even come with a plate that the speakers mount into and then mount into the 6x8 opening.

haha not really. Only thing im really fond of from rockford is their amp wiring and accessories. And the 1000.1bd (at least that we carry). The power series stuff is pretty nice. Not a fan of the speakers though at all.

Yeah, not a fan of the kenwoods either. And the type r's are the series above the type s. Type X is the top of the line.
