I purchased this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...r+VCVR122.html sub with vented enclosure. When I pulled the sub out of the box the sub says cvr12 4 ohm. even the side of the shipping box says it a cvr12 2ohm. this is the amp I have http://www.crutchfield.com/S-UNPNS1C...GM-D7400M.html Can some tell me how these need to be wired? Im getting a little confused any help would be appreciated.

But from what i read, dual 2 ohm sub is either 1 or 4 ohm. There information is flawed.


Well the link you supplied doesnt match the info your gave us. Dual 4 can be wired to 2 ohm.

 

it says the sub has a final load of 2ohms so the dual 4ohm coils are wired in parallel ++/-- to bring it down to 2ohm total. So just run the speaker wire from the box to the amp since its a mono channel amp.
