rear speakers out

I replaced the stock rear speakers with Pioneer 6X8. The unfortunate down side to this was they worked for about 5 months, and I just realized there is no sound coming from them. What the crap! Havent had a chance to pull apart the doors and look at the wiring, I doubt the rear speakers are off a seperate fuse from the front, but I could check it too, however there is some weird noise coming from the speakers when I set at only rear speakers.

Has anyone else had this issue? I am just curious what I should be looking for. I'm sure my wiring just went loose, but who knows. The speakers better have not gone bad, even though I usually only need the front speakers being solo in the truck.

Guess I should go tear apart the truck...is it spring yet?

There are no fuses just for speakers. The only thing fused is your headunit. If theres sound coming from them, then they are probably blown.

bad connection with the wires, cheap butt splice connectors released the wires, no power means no sound
