so im planning my first system in my f150.. im starting to collect everything now and install everything when it gets warm.. anyways, i have a few ideas and want to get suggestions..

Door speakers:
Im looking at either 5 1/2 inch alpine type R components for the front and rear or 6x8 infinity kappa (components in the front, coaxle in the rear). They seem to be the best in my price range. Which ones would you pick or any suggestions?

subwoofers:
Currently I have 1 10inch Kicker CVX.. im between keeping it (currently way underpowered and would purchace a new amp) or a RE audio SX 12 (yeah, i know.. not similar at all lol)

amplifers:
Im between 2 different setups on amps.. here they are...

1. PPI 4125 amplifier.. its rated at 4x125@4ohm, 4x250@2ohm. I could run the front 2 channels for the speakers, and bridge the rear channel and run the kicker subwoofer.. and power it quite nicely. The sub channel bridge would be 500wrms @ 2ohms (the sub runs at 2 ohms and is rated at 600wrms) and since the amp is underrated, i figured it would work nicely..

2. Alpine PDX 4.100 and 1.1000.. I would run this setup with the RE audio subwoofer..


im really torn.. I would probably choose the alpine amps hands down but since I already have the kicker subwoofer, and Id only pay 100 dollars for the PPI amp, im leaning torwards that amp. IM trying to make this the only system I put in this truck. I probably had 4 different systems a year for the 5 years i owned my ranger and dont want to watse the kind of cash i did back then lol

As far as audio goes, its a lot of preference as long as your talking about brands/models that compare. I myself would go with JL audio components in front/JL Audio Full range in back or Infinity Kappa component front/Infinity Kappa Full range back.
For a sub i don't know if you're leaning towards sq or spl, but i'd go with a jbl power or a jl audio w6 maybe. Could even do an alpine type x.
As for an amp, Infinity has a good line of amps, Hifonics also has some decent ones for the price.
