MTX Thunderform Question
I am looking at going with a Thunderform that goes underneith my back seat in my 2001 Supercrew.
I was also looking at going with the loaded package with the sub and amp already in stalled.
Does anyone have this set up? if so, how does it sound??
Also anyother people with this box, can you tell me how you have yours set up? And how it sounds?

I wanted a pretty easy install. I used an Alpine cdda 9886, 2 pr. Alpine SPX-17REF and for amplifiers i used Rockford Fosgate T600 for front and rear speakers, and i used a Rockford Fosgate T1500 to run the MTX Thunderform with the factory 10" sub...
Honestly for what i was looking for this system rocks, and I was able to put it together from ebay for $1100 total......and it will play every type of music.....
Im glad i went this route and not the self amplified unit....

I was looking for convenience when I installed my system, too. Nothing major, just enough for me. I bought the loaded package with sub and amp installed. It's good if you're not an audiophile, but I am planning on redoing my entire system in a few weeks. IMO if you're looking for something convenient and just to add a little thump to your music, it works fine. The biggest plus is that the box fits perfectly under the seat.
If you want a great sound, though, stay away. Do it right the first time and put everything together yourself. Like I said, I'm having to go back and redo my entire system because I want more now. Just trying to save you the trouble in case you ever do the same.
