Need advice on my system...

I'm getting ready to do an install on my '09 FX4 Supercab and would like a few opinions. My focus is sound quality and factory integration (I want it to look as stock as possible without compromising SQ too much). I listen to all types of music.
Here's what I'm considering at the moment:
JL Cleansweep from factory HU
Boston Pro60SE in the front doors
Alpine PDX 4.150 bridged to 2 channel to run the Pro60SE
Supercrew Sound dual 10" sub box
Alpine PDX 1.1000 to run 2 10" subs

I'm planning to only run speakers in the front doors rather than put cheaper speakers in the rear and muddy the sound quality as well as divide my amps power, has anyone tried this and what were your results?

The Pro60SE tweeters can be mounted coaxially or seperately, will mounting seperately be a significant enough gain in SQ? If so where on the door panel would be the best place?

I haven't chosen subs yet since I'm having trouble finding suitable speakers that are no more than 5 3/8 inch deep since thats what will fit the enclosure. I wanted to install Boston G3s but they seem to be too deep. Any suggestions? Is there a better enclosure I could be using?

That enclosure isnt bad for a prefab. Do they give the option on the box for the 09's to extend the mounting depth to 6 inches for an extra 20 bucks? I sold one to a customer the other day with a taco that had that option. Also, I personally have never heard them, but a lot of guys like the ID subs that supercrewsound recommends with their boxes.

The only thing else I can say is take a good look at the rockford 3sixty.2 for your processor.

Good start. I run no rear speakers = much better SQ. I recommend going with just a front stage.

I'd look for 10" IDQv2 subwoofers. 5.25" deep and one of my favorite subwoofers I've heard to date. Not super loud but they blend incredibly well.

One other thing to note: the PDX amps have floor noise issues. For the subs it wont matter as its inaudible at low frequencies, but for your components you may want to look at a different 4 channel to bridge. Something like a Zapco Reference 360.4 or Arc Audio KS 300.4 would be ideal. Also, if you do get the RF 3sixty.2 then you can use the 4 channel to run your components active which will increase sound quality tenfold. With time alignment and all the EQ options, you will have pretty good stage presence and imaging.

Also make sure to dampen the doors and floor with something like Raammat BXT II or Secondskin Damplifier. Nothing kills sound quality more then panel buzzing and vibrations.

So running rear door speakers isn't a good idea? Or only when you have components in the front? I ordered 4 JL 5x7's

Thanks for the help so far. After doing a little reading I'm going with the 3sixty.2 processor. I'm looking into the Zapco 360.4, I'd looked at this amp earlier but couldn't find one locally to listen to.

How about positioning the tweeters, any suggestions?

If you go active crossovers with TA, then I'd put the tweeters in the sail panels or the A-pillars for a higher stage. If you go passive, then put them as close to the mid as possible (or coaxial like you said you could).

I'm running those Boston's in the front doors of my 2008 and I mounted the tweeter in the stock locations which is higher. I'm not familiar with the '09 set up, but I would also try to mount the tweeters higher, if possible to do so. I also have the RF 3sixty.2 in my system and very pleased with it.

One of the things that improved sound was to solidly mount the 6.5" speakers on MDF screwed into the door panel. The factory setup used these plastic pedestals which cut down on mid-bass coming out of the speakers. I dampened the doors at the same time, so that might also have helped with improving the sound.

Here's my updated system based on some of the recomendations made and some research:
*RF 3sixty.2 Processor from factory HU
*Boston Pro60SE in the front doors with the tweeters mounted high on the doors near the defroster vent
*Zapco Reference 360.4 amp for the front speakers
*Fox Acoustics dual 10" sub box
*(2) JL 10W3v3 subs
*Alpine PDX 1.1000 to power the subs

I'm only running speakers in the front doors and planning on powering each component with 1 channel of the 4 channel amp and using the 3sixty.2 as an active crossover. I'm going to dampen the front and rear doors and install the 6.5 midbass drivers in 1/2" MDF in the factory location.

How does this sound? Did I miss anything or can you think of a better way to set this up?

I don't have near that much horsepower and I'm more than pleased with mine. I presume you're going to mount the amps on the rear wall. The rear of the back seat isn't real easy to get out. Someone has a good write up on this. I can't imagine Ford is using a different mounting system, so you might want to look it up before you tackle the install.

Looks good, your on your way to a nice sounding setup. If you can spring a little more cash on subs, that fox box has enough depth to fit IDQv3 (the newer IDQs) which are better than the W3 in both output and SQ. Either way, it should sound good though.

Like msall said, id go with the ID's over the JL's.

I got to here some for the first time yesterday during a troubleshoot job at work...they sounded awesome.

I was going to use a JL Cleansweep in my Expedition, but since you mentioned the RF solution, I took a look. Definitely cool to have everything in one place. I have another thing in mind, the cleansweep is significantly cheaper, so that's probably the route I will be going.

Which specific model did you get to demo?

The v2's. Didnt get too listen too long because I got called out to the sales floor. They were behind the seat in a newer tacoma. Not the loudest in the world from what I could tell (also not sure what the gains, etc were set at seeing as we didnt do the install) but they did sound pretty good. Id seriously look at them if I didnt get such a killer discount on other stuff.
