I am able to get one of these shipped for about half price and was wondering if one Kicker 8" CVT is worthwhile? I only want to get a more complete range of sound that a subwoofer provides. I don't want to rattle my vehicle to pieces.

I just want at to have sound at least as good as the factory subwoofer. I will be powering it with a 300 RMS Mono Kenwood Amp in my 05' Supercab.

 

not a bad deal you got. i have two of those 10" on a custom box and 800 w amp and they do the trick nicely so i think 1 8 will do what you want it to
