Sound Deadner
First off, I want to thank everyone for all the advice in my previous threads. I have an 07 F150 SC
My question is, how many Sq. feet of deadner is needed to cover both front doors?
What about the back wall and floor?
I understand the doors is a necessity, what about the back wall, floor, and roof?
Also, when using the cheaper materials, is it necessary to use more than one layer? Which really increases the price.
Depends on how indepth you want to go. For normal listening for a daily driver, id say no. If you want to do comps or just really **** id say do all. When i do mine i plan on doing door and back. Im not pulling my whole interier out. My truck will never see a comp and im not that picky.
I have seen some dynamat kits that are for doors. Looks like 4 sheets worth. But dont think it will be enough to do all of it. The more layers the better it would be, mainly what ive read about the cheap stuff it to get cheap aluminum coated roofing tape and seal the edges.
