Single cab mega build
Single cab mega build
Everyone is telling me I cant do it, but I'm aiming to do something unique. Im putting a Kicker 08S12L7 DVC (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+08S12L74.html) in a Single Cab 01 F150 WITHOUT a cutout. Im 6"2' n 220 lbs and with my measurements, my knees wont be hitting the dash board. Ive got about two inches of clearance which isn't that bad. Its going to be pushed by a Kicker 750.1 amp and my highs are 8x Kicker 6x9's. Four of them are pushed by a Boss 800.4 amp. Right now I'm building the box and I'm just waiting for my sub to come in (Tues). Here are a few pics.
This is my old setup, Im selling the subwoofer box if anyone is interested.

Box looks nice, good job so far.
Please please get some wire loom on that wire under the hood though. Also, try to find a way to get the coaxials in front of you instead of directly behind you. Doors or kickpanels are pretty easy spots.

probably wouldve been easier and more comfortable to make a center console box for it, but that should work fine i guess. my back plastics are cut like that too, makes lots of extra room for a box.
