As for speakers I really like the Alpine SPX-17REF 6-1/2" component speakers... I have these in my Super Cab on all four corners... There is no distortion when cranked up... They're not cheap...

I have the crossovers under the front seats...

The price I paid was $350 a pair... "Motor Structure,
SPX-17REF speakers are highly efficient, have shallower mounting depths, and narrower overall motor structures thanks to neodymium magnets. Neodymium is very expensive rare earth magnetic metal, which provides improved bass performance and power control compared to standard magnet structures. Shallow depth means these speakers fit many different vehicles for quick installation."

yea I seen those when I was looking for door speakers for that other thread. Glad to hear you like them. For the price range they was in they have some pretty tough competition to stand up against.

Are they 5X7 or 6.5's? Where can I get the adapter to upgrade to 6.5's?
