Will this box work?

I want to rip up the padding and leather from my back seat (supercrew) and built a ported box for two 12" JL w7's or two 12" memphis mojos then put the padding and leather back on the box so my box is my back seat. talked to a guy today and he said i would have no head room at all due to the box being so big. Should i just go with a sealed box or do yall think this will work. i saw a guy on here with a simliar setup with some w7's but i think his box was sealed.

Low profile subs in a sealed box will provide great sound while keeping your back seat in its original configuration...

Custom boxes may be the way to go... For larger subs you may want to look into raising your rear sit, but there goes the head room again... If you do not use the rear seats, just remove them. There are other issues when someone is sitting directly on top of the speakers that I would not want to deal with...

yeah there would be no head room and the back seats would be pointless... just get a seat lift kit if your willing to spend that kind of money and go with something better than w7s or mojos

pioneer tsw307d2 12" subs powered by a gmd8400m amp. love it but its just not loud enough. i had the box built for 2 memphis m3's but friend of mine that owns an audio shop told me that these are very similar to the m3's and half the price so i went with these. like i said, love them but they are not loud enough and i figure if im giving up all my leg room in my back seat it may be worth it thats why im considering going bigger. i saw a guys truck on youtube that had two 12" w7s in his truck (the same way i want mine) and he looked like he fit them pretty well, thats where i got the idea from.

speaker box

Not trying to change your mind or anything. I have an 08 screw. It has 2jlw1v2 that require .625 per sub min rms I thin is at 150 so I bought the kicker 5 channel amp and sub thump box from sub thump. It hits real hard for two ten It almost hits as hard as my 88 stang with two kicker 12 in a ported box and the car had the hatch back I hit 133 db in a contest a few times. very minimal mods the box it is a down fire so you may have to cut your carpet and remove excess insulation towards the back of the box and remove the jack bolts the head on the bolt is pretty big so I went to mcfadedale and got some allen panhead black scres they are metric thread. It pounds good I am really happy with it. So if you dont want to loose head room or end up picking something that has not been tested yet. I highly recomend that company, One thing to note both right and left speaker terminals you need the screw in type because the ones they provide when the bass hits it blows them out thats it good luck
