Wiring Ohm Load Question

Can you guys tell me if this is the same thing? Crutchfield's wiring diagram shows the first one... but the box I bough has two sealed areas and I'd rather not drill a hole to run the wire. Another thing Crutchfield never shows a mono amp having two positive terminals and two negatives.

This is the diagram I am referring to.

Thanks guys (and girls).

Sweet! Thanks. Believe it on not I had to take Electrical Fundamentals to get an Engineering Degree but I was probably hungover that day. Wait... it was college... I was hungover every day.
