infinity perfects
Mark this post is directed at you for the most part or anyone else who has a set of perfects. Actually I'm not sure if those are perfects in that picture that you posted, but if they are, how do they sound. I was looking at a pair and cant decide between boston pro 6.5's which I have and know that they rock, or a set of infinity perfects which a damn good freind of mine who works at a stero shop is tring to talk me into. money is not the issue b/c I would get it at cost. He told me that they were the best speakers that he has EVER heard. He has built and heard alot of everything mostly high end stuff. So how do you like them if that is what they are? Thanks. Jeff
Yes, they are Infinity Kappa Perfect components. I love 'em. They are clear enough that some of my 128bit MP3 CD's aren't sounding so good anymore compared to genuine CD's.
So far all I've done is connect them to the stock HU without any amplifier (through the supplied crossovers though). I can turn the HU all the way up with no distortion at all. They really need an amp though to realize their full potential. I can't say if they would sound better than any other good aftermarket speaker, but these are about the absolute top-of-the-line speakers you can buy. And nothing is too good for my Lightning.
I also liked them enough that last week I ordered a set of their Kappa Perfect 10" subs.
BTW, check the eBay auctions for a seller called "usavemoney". I got the components (brand new) from them for about $275. Pretty good considering the MSRP is something over $500.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but you guys seem to have the best information.
I am having great depression, frustration, and difficulty installing the Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 speakers into my Lightning. I have everything amped, wired, etc. but I can't get the woofer to fit in the door and behind the door panel.
What did you guys have to do to install these? Mark, is it possible to get the old pictures from you?
Thanks, any help is appreciated, please.

Mark - I found your gallery on the World, and it clears up a lot of questions.
Couple more though: What material and what thickness did you use? And where did you mount your crossovers?
Thanks again!

Even though you had a good experience with this seller on Ebay I personnaly would not feel safe buying from him. I looked at his feedback from buyers and he had 99 negative comments in the past 6 months, and 16 negative in the past month! That's not a very good rating and I can see a lot of Infinity products from him with great prices and nobody is bidding on some of them. That's my $.02 on the matter.
Take care
Mike
