Fi bl?
okay so im looking for some new subs. im currently running 2 kicker L7 10s and im looking for some thing with a little bit more power. so if somebody could tell me if the have ever had any FI subs and if they like them and im also trying to sell my kickers if anybody is interested

go with the BTL if you're wanting hardcore spl. buddy of mine in high school had just a 15" Fi BL in a ported pro box in his accord's trunk, loud as hell and made the roof visibly vibrate up and down quite a bit.

Hey Spark, are you familiar with a guy by the name of Steve Meade ???
If not, do a search on him.... or, on Steve Meade Designs. The guy builds some of the most outrageous systems (like 20Kwts and 30Kwts) and all he uses is Fi subs. Actually, he now has one with his name on it (also made by Fi, I believe).
Anyway, that tells me a lot.
I've seriously considered Fi subs myself. Personally speaking though, always being torn between SPL and SQ, I'd probably go with Fi Q's, which are apparently "almost as loud" as Bl's, but a little more musical than Bl's too.
If those were not loud enough, I'd go with more "square inches of subwoofer, and more watts".
I feel the same way about enclosures. Sure, you can build a fart box that's "louder"...... or, you can setup up everything towards sound quality, and just run more power, and more square inches of subwoofer, and still be loud, but along with great SQ.
Long story short, I don't think you can go wrong with Fi subs.
