Boston FS80's
After talking and writing with a number of folks who got new speakers the bug bit me so I got a pair for the front.
I got the Boston Acoustic FS80's and I must say they are pretty impressive. I was on a limited budget so I held off on an amp but I must say, even with out an amp these sound really nice. They are component however the woofer is a 5x7 and there is a tweeter. They come with crossovers and I had the tweeters mounted by the door-handels. This works out perfect for us F150 owners because you get components without having to have a plate built for the woofer.

With just the stock headunit they sound great and if you are listening to cd's press the #5 button "comp" and it really boosts the sound.
I left the stock back speakers intact. Moved the fader up 1/4 to the front and it's beautiful. Much deeper bass and a lot clearer highs. Maybe someday an amp will be added but if you are looking for a way to upgrade the sound system and don't want to get into an amp addition, I highly reccomend this.
